Our Walkers
Meet our Trail Leaders

Zoey Enderle
Senior Trail Leader, Customer Relations Manager
Zoey is a longtime employee of NW Trail Dogs. She has been dog walking and pet sitting since the age 12 and spent many years as a volunteer at Brigadoon Service dogs, later becoming their lead kennel technician. With over 10 years of experience in the dog world, she has a vast understanding of dog behavior, body language, training and care. Zoey can often be found on trail, hiking with her Brigadoon dropout Black Lab, Dash.
Bethany Werda
Trail Leader
Bethany started dog 4-H at 8 years old with her rescue dog Gracie. They worked together as a team in 4-H for 9 years, giving her extensive knowledge and experience in dog handling and behavior at a very young age. After moving to Whatcom county in 2018 she worked in multiple local daycare/boarding facilities, eventually moving into managing a boarding facility on Camano Island. She uses her extensive experience in pack environments, dog body language and behavior to make the hiking experiences smooth and fun. When not on trail with Trail Dogs, she can be found hiking her 2 dogs Hannibal and Honor, or lounging at home with her 3 cats.

Alexa Brune
Trail Leader
Alexa has over 2 decades of experience working with dogs. She started working with dogs at a very young age. She began by volunteering at her local shelter and moved on to working for rescues and daycares up and down the west coast doing rehabilitation, fostering, and training.
She has extensive experience handling groups of dogs and knows how to keep the experience fun and upbeat for everyone. When not walking for Trail dogs, she can be found hanging out with her two Chihuahua rescues, Honey Bee and Simon Dupree.

Marisah Stafford
Trail Leader
Marisah is a contracted hiker for our Solo Hike program. She’s been caring for animals since she was 15. She has years of experience as a veterinary assistant and years of pet sitting and dog walking experience. She worked in a dog boarding facility, where she learned to handle dogs of all sizes and personalities. Marisah enjoys building trust with the dogs she works with and making sure every hike is safe and enjoyable. When she’s not out with NW Trail Dogs, she spends time with her ball python or hanging out with her younger siblings.

"This is such a better option than doggie daycare!"
